Education Services

Our education services are divided into two distinct offerings: Blockchain Academy in-person training and ASQA-accredited online courses. These are not interchangeable, with the former focusing on practical, non-accredited sessions delivered in-person, and the latter providing formal, accredited qualifications via online/distance learning. The Blockchain Academy complements the accredited courses but does not lead to formal certification.

Note on Third-Party Arrangement for ASQA-Accredited Online Courses: Where a reference is made to the Australian Blockchain Association (AusBlock) for these courses, you warrant and accept that all services are provided by National College of Australia Pty Ltd (RTO 45361). AusBlock acts solely as the marketer in this third-party arrangement, and National College of Australia Pty Ltd is the Registered Training Organisation responsible for delivering all training, assessment, and related educational services in compliance with applicable standards and legislation.

Blockchain Academy In-Person Training

This sub-section applies to our practical, non-accredited training programmes, including individual, small group (2–10 participants), or one-on-one sessions, delivered in-person at our Brisbane offices. These emphasise hands-on skills in blockchain technology, such as wallet management (e.g., MetaMask, Ledger), DeFi protocols (e.g., Uniswap, Aave), yield farming, stablecoin applications (e.g., USDC), and derivatives trading (e.g., Deribit, perpetuals, options). Sessions are customised to your expertise level and integrate discussions on compliance (e.g., ATO and ASIC guidelines), security, and our upcoming neobanking/hybrid CEX/DEX services for simplified on-chain activities without full asset custody.

Eligibility and Enrolment

  • You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to participate.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions with reasonable notice; you will receive a pro-rata refund or credit for affected portions.

Content and Intellectual Property

  • All training materials, including real-time exercises on live platforms, are our property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialise them without written consent.
  • Sessions are educational only and do not constitute financial, legal, or investment advice.

Payments and Financial Responsibilities

  • Payments are upfront or as agreed; ensure your nominated account accepts direct debits if applicable.
  • To defer or alter payments, contact us; approvals are at our discretion and may incur fees (details via 1300 651 993).

Refund Policy

  • Participant cancellations require 48 hours’ notice for a full refund; otherwise, a 50% fee applies. No refunds for no-shows or partial attendance.
  • Refunds are available only if sessions are cancelled by us.

Learner Conduct

  • Adhere to our Code of Conduct: Be respectful, ethical, and honest; avoid damaging our reputation; respect Australian laws and norms.
  • We may cancel sessions for breaches such as policy violations, inappropriate behaviour, or disruptive actions. Cancellation is notified in writing; no refunds apply.

Fair Go and Responsibilities

  • Sessions provide practical guidance tied to blockchain applications. Staff are strictly prohibited from providing personal or business advice relating to non-education or session-related questions. This includes, but is not limited to, personalised financial, investment, legal, or operational guidance for your individual circumstances or business interests. Such enquiries will not be addressed, as our role is limited to delivering educational content and support directly tied to session materials and practical blockchain applications. Attempts to seek such advice may be considered misuse of services and could lead to session review or cancellation without refund. For any non-session matters, including practical implementations beyond educational scope, consult qualified external professionals.

Liability

  • We are not liable for any losses arising from your application of learned concepts, including trading risks or asset mismanagement.

ASQA-Accredited Online Courses

This sub-section applies to our formal qualifications listed on training.gov.au.. These are delivered via online/distance learning, focusing on practical understanding of blockchain and AI technologies, with assessments leading to accredited outcomes.

Eligibility and Enrolment

  • You must be at least 16 years old at the time of enrolment.
  • If you hold a visa, you are responsible for ensuring appropriate study rights in Australia for the course duration. You must inform us of any visa status change within 7 days; failure may result in enrolment cancellation without refund.
  • Enrolment requires payment of fees as specified.
  • Prior to enrolment, we assess your digital capabilities to ensure effective participation in online/distance learning.

Content and Intellectual Property

  • All course materials are the property of National College of Australia Pty Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialise them without written consent. Civil penalties may apply for unauthorised use of intellectual property beyond your studies.
  • Courses integrate practical applications, compliance, and discussions on simplified interfaces.

Payments and Financial Responsibilities

  • Payments may be upfront or via plans; ensure your nominated account accepts direct debits.
  • To defer or stop a payment, contact us before the due date; approvals are at our discretion based on account status. Deferrals/stoppages pause our service obligations until payments resume.
  • To alter payment schedules, contact us; changes may incur fees (details via 1300 651 993) and do not affect total amounts due.
  • For cancellations of direct debit authority, contact us or your bank; this does not end your contract or payment liabilities. We may cancel enrolment upon payment of a $200 fee, releasing you from further liabilities.
  • Dishonoured payments incur a $10 fee, plus potential debiting of overdue amounts. If debts persist, we may refer to a collection agency, adding a $50 fee and 25% of the outstanding balance as collection costs.
  • Disputes must follow our complaints procedure; unauthorised chargebacks incur $250 for the first instance and $100 thereafter. Fraud claims require a police report; banks causing invalid disputes indemnify us for losses.
  • Early completion requires full payment before receiving qualifications or statements of attainment.

Refund Policy

  • Due to the online delivery of these courses and access to materials, courses are deemed consumed upon access. No refunds are available except as specified below.
  • Upfront Fee Paying Learners: No refunds for change of mind. Full refund if enrolment is rejected (e.g., visa issues). No refunds for extension fees.
  • Refunds do not apply if enrolment is cancelled due to breaches (e.g., plagiarism).

Course Extensions and Changes

  • Qualification/course learners may request up to two 6-month extensions (except in teach-out periods, limited to submission deadlines). Skill set/short course learners may request one 1-month extension. Apply via our website.
  • To change qualification/course within 7 days: no fee. After 7 days: $149 fee (plus extras for higher qualifications); second change: $299. Maximum two changes.
  • To change skill set/short course: $149 fee (plus extras for higher qualifications).

Learner Conduct and Plagiarism

  • Adhere to our Code of Conduct: Be respectful, ethical, and honest; avoid damaging our reputation; respect Australian laws and norms.
  • Plagiarism is prohibited and may lead to enrolment cancellation without refund. All submissions must be your own work; reference extracts properly. Actions for breaches include resubmission, suspension, or cancellation. A $50 fee applies per plagiarised assessment resubmission; no marking until paid.
  • Where written text is required as part of an assessment you must use your own words and not AI generated responses. You are required to demonstrate your own understanding.
  • We may cancel enrolment for breaches such as policy violations, inappropriate behaviour, misuse of property, disruptive actions, ignoring instructions, or plagiarism. Cancellation is notified in writing; no refunds or further obligations apply, but payment liabilities remain.

Fair Go and Responsibilities

  • Make reasonable efforts to complete courses in your own time. As an online/distance educator, we provide materials for self-study with occasional trainer support (e.g., clarifying queries via email/phone). Trainers cannot provide answers or complete work.
  • Staff are strictly prohibited from providing personal or business advice relating to non-education or course-related questions. This includes, but is not limited to, personalised financial, investment, legal, or operational guidance for your individual circumstances or business interests. Such enquiries will not be addressed, as our role is limited to delivering educational content and support directly tied to course materials and practical blockchain applications. Attempts to seek such advice may be considered misuse of services and could lead to enrolment review or cancellation without refund. For any non-course matters, including practical implementations beyond educational scope, consult qualified external professionals.

  • Courses are educational only and do not constitute financial, legal, or investment advice.
